General Marijuana Smoking Etiquette.

There are some general etiquette rules that must be followed when coping with any quantity of other smokers. The guidelines exist for a real incentive to help protect folks from unwarranted stress, but these rules are awfully general and vary from circle to circle. If you are sick, don’t smoke from the same pipe as other folks. This seems like common-sense, but it’s a rule to help guard the other smokers’ health and will be followed.
Avoid being a mooch, because folks won’t need to smoke with you any more. To avoid being labeled as a mooch, simply provide marijuana from time to time or pitch money to whomever is providing. Sadly , it is complicated to get rid of this label once it’s been bestowed. On the opposite side of the range, do not be the sole person to ever provide marijuana. If you become this person, folk will use you for your marijuana and it’ll dig into your pockets. If you find that all your chums are just mooching, request that they supply now and then or find new folks to smoke with.
A typical question that comes up in smoking circle is “where did you get this weed? ” This query is regarded rude. The issue to hand is the safeness of the dealer. It is highly rude to give the number or name of your dealer to someone else without the dealer’s authorization.
Dealers rely on anonymity for their own safety. If their clients are giving out their names right and left, it’s only a matter of time before they get caught.
Where I come from, breaking this rules may end up in a visit to the infirmary, so if somebody asks you this query, kindly tell them that you’re not at freedom to talk about the identity of your dealer.
You can act as a broker and deliver weed for your dealer to make a tiny profit or introduce the buddy to your dealer with the dealer’s authorization. Peer pressure is acceptable and encouraged to a point, but respect peoples’s call not to smoke. Avoid slobbering all over the pipe, joint, blunt, vaporizer, or whatever. This has various names like “fish-lipping, ” or the less PC “nigger-lipping ” ( I wouldn’t endorse using this term ; you could get your ass kicked. ) No-one wants to put their lips around your spit. Among more normal smokers, smoking a joint with someone else using your left hand is an indication of respect. This is a little-known tradition in most modern circles, so it might not carry a lot of weight, but historically it’s an act reserved for the most deferential smoking sessions ( as an example, smoking with Bob Marley or Jerry Garcia’s ghost… )
