Way to Make Hash Oil
Technique 1- Using Hashish If you know basic chemistry lab safety and have worked with uncertain solvents, you can try this. If you have not, get someone that has to help you. When working with isopropyl alcohol, ensure that it only makes contact with glass.
Isopropyl alcohol can extract dangerous chemicals from plastic and similar materials.
A ) what you want relies upon the standard of oil you would like. I generally use prime quality isopropyl ( read NO rubbing alcohol ) for straight run oil, and good hash that has not been pressed with any chemicals to extend the weight at the price of reduced potential. This is the case with most of the hash that’s consumed in nations apart from the one it was produced in.
It has a tendency to get “diluted” the further it travels. If you’re undecided of the hash quality, don’t try and make oil, it’s not for amateurs. Don’t throw your cash away. Another thing to think about is quantity. One gram of hash oil will take one or two grams of hash to supply. Unless you have got access to a large amount of hash, do not squander your time. Commence with two oz of hashish on your first attempt. Increase the quantity on your next batch if you like the results Crumble the hash into a pot, pour in some isopropyl and heat ( low heat ) for thirty mins. Get some top quality filter paper and filter the gunk. Dissipate the alcohol and there you have it. For additional purification you will need some petrol ether ( best ). General ether purification like the following. Mix a solution of resin / isopropyl with some ether and water, then softly tip the container upside down and back. Do this about twenty or twenty-five times and let it stand till the layers separate ( water / isopropyl with ether on top ).
Siphon or pipette the ether solution off and repeat 2-3x with fresh ether. Dissipate the ether ( try to salvage it if feasible ) and voila – smooth killer oil ( if you used good hash and got it right ). Be cautious with the ether though , it’s extremely explosive, often spontaneous when it decomposes. You can go further and make honey oil with turned on charcoal and really prime quality filter paper but you lose a serious amount. It’s usually worthwhile though .
B ) I’ve been told that you can wrap it up with dry ice in some paper and scrape it off the paper when the ice melts. Also, I was told that if you put your weed in a filter and pour hydrogen peroxide through it into a bowl of water and boil it down it’ll produce oil.
Technique two – Using Marijuana if you would like to make hash oil from marijuana, try one of the techniques explained here. They are less complicated and more safe compared to this older method.
Tools required :
* Porcelain cooking pot or heatproof pyrex bowl.
* forged iron pan ( frying pan larger than the porcelain pot )
* Coffee filters ( re-usable gold filters work very well )
* 2 bowls Isopropyl alcohol ( commonly available at drugstores, look for alcohol that’s 99% pure, denatured alcohol also works very well, occasionally isopropyl alcohol is known as rubbing alcohol ) Take one coffee filter, and place your marijuana in it. Tip the alcohol over the marijuana in the coffee filter so the alcohol drains into one of the bowls. Squeeze each bit of the alcohol from the marijuana into the bowl.
Now transfer the same marijuana into a clean coffee filter, and use the same alcohol to decant over it again into the 2nd bowl.
Keep repeating this time after time again. If you have got a difficulty with the coffee filters breaking apart while you are squeezing the marijuana, use two or three coffee filters at a time. The alcohol will turn green. Next, take the iron skillet set it on the stove, and put the porcelain pot into the pan.
Fill the pan with water. Alcohol is very combustible. Do not be foolish, be CAREFUL! Don’t cook the alcohol over the open flame.
The water in the pan helps in forestalling the alcohol from getting too hot so helping to stop the alcohol from igniting aflame. Ensure your kitchen has good ventilation. Use the cooker fan and other fans to move the air around in order to stop smoke from gathering in one place and igniting. Let the alcohol in the porcelain pot in the pan boil on LOW. Ensure the pan remains full of water. The alcohol will dissipate very fast. Ensure you don’t let it dissipate too swiftly or burn the alcohol. Once all the alcohol has been evaporated off, you’ll be left with hash oil. Take a razor blade and scrape it up and smoke it.
